Alina Benitez, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner, discovered her passion for healthcare early on. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Walsh University in Ohio and began her career as an ICU nurse in Florida, excelling in high-stakes environments at a Level I Trauma Center for nearly a decade. Alina later earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and was trained in dermatology by the renowned Dr. Lawrence Blasik, head of the dermatology department at Tufts University and President of the New England Dermatological Society. While working with Dr. Blasik, Alina obtained a certification in dermatology from the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification Board (DNPC), a distinction held by less than 1% of practitioners. 

Prior to opening Skora Skin, she developed a keen eye for aesthetics while working side by side with one of the most pre-eminent plastic surgeons in the country. During this time, she honed her skills by combining her knowledge of facial anatomy with a keen aesthetic eye and gentle touch. At Skora Skin, she integrates her clinical expertise with a deep understanding of dermatological science, delivering natural results for her patients.

Beyond her professional achievements, Alina values family time and enjoys traveling with her spouse, Aly, and their son, Alexander (“Xander”). Her dedication to education and patient wellness underscores her holistic approach to healthcare, making her a respected figure in both dermatology and aesthetics.
